Story Behind Littlebigbiteco
Little Big Bite Co was born over my 6 burner kitchen cooker ; with one hand stirring pap, the other holding a baby, and a million thoughts racing through my mind. I was a mom of 3. Soon after, I became a mom of 5 and as a Nigerian mom raising children in a busy, modern world, I often found myself asking:
“What can I feed my kids that’s healthy, easy, and rooted in our culture?”
And not just for one day—every single day.
Like many parents, I was juggling work, motherhood, and the daily decision fatigue of feeding little mouths. I wanted more than just quick fixes or foreign meal plans. I wanted real food that my children would recognize, love, and thrive on. Food that reflected our identity. Food that made them feel at home, whether we were in Lagos or London.
That’s when I realized:
If I was asking these questions, thousands of other parents were too.It started as just The Little Big Bite Cookbook but soon evolved beyond that. Little Big Lunchboxes, Smart Kid Meal Plan, Affirmation Cards and more launched and so did this website.
