BANANA OATMEAL

  • 1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 banana, sliced
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • breastmilk, formula or water to thin, if needed
  • toppings of choice: banana
  1. Add oats, banana slices and cinnamon into a pot.
  2. Add water and stir to combine.
  3. Heat over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until all the liquid has been absorbed.
  4. Be sure to stir the oats several times while cooking to make sure the banana slices melt into the oats.
  5. Portion oats into a bowl and let cool before serving. Feel free to add toppings.
