APPLE SAUCE/PUREE

  • 6 apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1⁄4 cup water
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
  1. In a medium saucepan add in all ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat then cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes until apples are soft and fork tender.
  1. Remove from heat and blend mixture until smooth
  2. Enjoy warm or transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 3-5 days.

Note: Perfect as is or as a spread for pancakes or topper for oatmeal or yogurt.
