INGREDIENTS
- 6 apples, peeled and chopped
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
PREPARATION
- In a medium saucepan add in all ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat then cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes until apples are soft and fork tender.
- Remove from heat and blend mixture until smooth
- Enjoy warm or transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 3-5 days.
Note: Perfect as is or as a spread for pancakes or topper for oatmeal or yogurt.
